On Sunday 18th April the Market Harborough U18s Mixed side played in the annual Norman Day Trophy held at Mountsorrel. In their first game Harborough took on a strong Loughborough side who boasted some top quality players. Loughborough took an early 3-0 lead inside 10 minutes before Ali Williams scored a reverse stick shot. Loughborough made it 4 before half time with an extra 3 goals in the second half to make the final score 7-1.

In their second game Harborough took on the Leicestershire County side and held them to just 1-0 before going down 4-0 in the last 10 minutes. Harborough can be proud of themselves as they fielded a lot younger team than the other two sides with players who have never played a game before.

Following a lacklustre performance the week before, which had seen Harborough A slip further behind in the title race, the team travelled to a damp Groby on Saturday for the challenge of third-placed Leicester Hospitals.
