Social

After a home match (or away come to think of it) the teams meet up to discuss disallowed goals and missed chances at the Coach and Horses, Lubenham. If your a visiting team there are chip butties laid on with our compliments.

And if your still up for it pop into The Oathill at around 8.00pm on Saturdays for a large amount of beers and cocktails with the rest of the members.

Charity

The club is self funding for the most part, we do receive some small grants that help with our pitch hire and with the upgrading of equipment needed for our junior section, but by in large we raise most of the money required to run this club through sponsorship and social events and with a little revenue from the sale of shirts
to club members.
Being a Harborough club we try to encourage our members to get involved in various charity events that are held locally, last year saw us take part in the Millennium Mile Run, we also entered a team in the local Dodgeball competition for Children in Need. Also for the first time in years we had a stall at the carnival showground in which a percentage of our takings was given to the organisers to distribute between this year’s chosen charities.

Clubs First

Market Harborough Mixed Hockey Club have registered for the ClubsFirst scheme with England Hockey and are currently working towards accreditation, as we meet the various criteria this page will be updated.
